Boston Consulting Group, a flagship office overlooking Tashkent.
The ninth floor of BC Trilliant, 1,200 sqm for one of the region's leading consulting offices - meeting rooms with panoramic views, a library cafe and a flexible working zone.
An office built to BCG's global standard.
Boston Consulting Group was opening an office in BC Trilliant, one of the most prestigious business addresses in Tashkent. The space had to meet the international BCG Workplace standard while also working for a Central Asian team with its pattern of frequent client meetings and teamwork.
The key requirements included several meeting rooms of different sizes, an open working zone with flexible seating, a strong reception and a spot for informal meetings inside the office.
Planning around three functional bands.
The floor is split into three clearly readable layers - a reception with a library cafe at the entrance, an inner band of meeting rooms and an open working core along the panoramic glazing overlooking the city. The structure gives both staff and clients a logical route through the space.
Every material, laminate panels and Interface carpet and integrated lighting included, was signed off with BCG's regional property director against the global specification.
A library cafe and 3 meeting rooms with a view.
The library cafe in the central zone works as a space for informal conversation, solo work and lunch without leaving the office. Built in shelving, a coffee counter and soft furniture in a dark green textile form a contrasting point inside the neutral working environment.
Meeting rooms for 4, 8 and 14 people are fitted with acoustic ceilings and integrated video conferencing. Each one looks out over the Tashkent skyline.
20 weeks. The BCG standard met in full.
The project finished on time and passed BCG's internal sign off with no remarks. The office welcomed its first staff twenty weeks after the contract was signed, including the time spent agreeing the global specification.
The library cafe immediately became the most used space. The number of meetings that used to happen outside the office fell within the first few weeks.
