The brief

Two trading floors with uninterrupted engineering.

UZNEX was opening its Tashkent headquarters against a strict technical brief - two independent trading floors with redundant engineering systems, uninterruptible power and structured cabling under a raised floor.

Alongside that it needed a representative front office for partner meetings, in a contrasting warm palette, to create a deliberate distance from the operating zone.

Approach

Engineering redundancy as the basis of the layout.

Before drawing the plan we agreed the MEP trunk layout, a single technical corridor between the two floors, from which independent power and cooling loops branch out to each trading room. That let us run the engineering installation and the finishing work in parallel along clearly separated fronts.

A raised floor with cable trays runs through both trading floors, so desk layouts can change without opening up the slab.

Key zones

Zoning for trading, analytics and clients.

The main trading floor holds 60 trader desks with dual monitors, an acoustically isolated ceiling and a video wall. The analytics room for 20 people is built as a closed perimeter with controlled access. A server room with its own cooling loop sits between the two.

The front office, with its waiting area and two meeting rooms, is finished in warm timber, a deliberate contrast with the high tech graphics of the operating side.

Result

24 weeks. Both floors live from day one.

Both trading floors were handed over together, with no phased opening. The engineering systems passed the client's independent technical audit with no remarks. Power and cooling redundancy was confirmed through stress testing.

The front office opened the same day, and client meetings started the moment the keys changed hands.

Exchange infrastructure where engineering reliability and architectural clarity are resolved as one, with no compromise between function and image.
